I know this is a bold statement, but hear me out. The Moffat Cybermen may get a bad rap, but when you compare them to the RTD-era Cybermen, the design is just cleaner and more refined. I get that people criticize the Moffat designs for looking a bit plastic, and yes, the chest light has an "Iron Man" vibe, but the RTD designs have their own issues — like the joints and openings that make them look cheap.
The Moffat Cybermen's head design is way more streamlined, and the overall aesthetic just feels more futuristic and sleek. I’ve never really bought the whole “Iron Man” comparison either. And when the Moffat Cybermen started flying, people thought they were leaning into the "Iron Man" look, but it actually worked for the design rather than cheapening it.
