i’ve reread the trilogy recently and oh my, i completely shitted on it on goodreads 😭 but forgive me, the series, as i discovered, is actually lame-and-lazy-written. i loved it when i was a teenager, but now, as an adult, i see it worse than i remember. i mean, i love the story itself, the characters, but it wasn’t as whole and emotional as the movies? you know what i’m talking about? it doesn’t appeal to the emotional depth it should? this is good in a way, it means i’ve grown up and these books give me a piece of nostalgia i crave, but yeeeah.
also, originally it was planned as teresa x book!brenda, i shipped them a little, but i’m not particularly fond of movie!brenda and i saw alba perfect for that role. but something happened and i decided to make it thomas x teresa since they have more history and are bond tight, and i just think it’d be more sensual if thomas was a girl :)
