DO YOU NEED A PEN NAME?-(Should you use a pen name as an author?)
This is a question that keeps popping up so I decided to make a video on it! Do you need to have a pen name as an author? Short answer: No. But, it can help with your marketing if you're planning to write books in different genres, and if you have a professional career apart from writing, where people might search for you. Do you want your readers to easily be able to find your books? Or do you want them to run into all of your personal business stuff online? In marketing, you want to make it simple and easy for people to see your name and want to buy your books. This might be easier if you have a pen name for your writing or your author brand.
In this video, I list a few reasons why you might want to consider using a pen name.
