My first video for 2018 and also my 100th video of my editing life. Can't believe I've made that many videos... Just crazy..
After I finished playing Nier Automata I really wanted to do a video to it because it was a fabulous game. I wanted to do something with action, but also had emotion since the characters had so much of it throughout the course of the game.
This video is mainly focused from 9S's perspective (though it will go back and forth to 2B and A2). I wanted to show how love leads 9S to his own destruction where all he can do is seek revenge and to end up dying alone.
Honestly this isn't my best work, but I enjoyed making it so that's what matters I think. I had fun doing some of the transitions and effects and I felt the bleached look was nice for the coloring. It's fun doing an action video every once in a while and Nier Automata is great to work with. I absolutely adore this song too. When I heard it I knew I had to edit with it, I'm glad that I got to do it. (sorry for that terrible song cut though..ugh)
Thanks goes to Alicia for helping me out (per usual xD) I probably would have given up on it if it wasn't for her. Her own video gave me tons of inspiration and made me want to keep going with it, and she gave me her thoughts and opinions on things. So thank you! :')
Last thing, my goal for this year is to try and make a full video every month and release it on the final day of the month.. Let's see if I can do it!
