I've actually edited to this source and song before in an mep I took part in from Aria (link: youtu.be/LEcs_dDkAFo). I fell in love with the combination, but I wondered if I would be able to pull it off with how little the donghua covers from the story (only 20ish chapters of 240 something.. yikes). I decided to try anyway because this series and characters have been living rent free in my head for quite some time. I wanted to edit to this pair so much I just had to try. They have easily become probably my all time favorite OTP. They are just.. so perfect and I love them. I had hoped that editing this would help me work it out of my system but it actually made it worse...Whoops.

I decided to keep the video itself rather simple, light and fluffy...with a bit of angst in the middle. Oh how I can't wait to edit a full angst video with this series. All I could do here is hint at what's to come using MDZS scenes, but that will do for now. The change in tone is abrupt, but I don't care. I had fun editing this video overall so who cares if it's a bit all over the place?

The audio had to be distorted to get this video up because the last half of the track was being copyrighted by something with the name 'squirrel' in it. I am still baffled and puzzled on whatever it is, but regardless, I profusely thank my friend Alicia for helping me work past the copyright of the Squirrel. No matter how I pitched it, it got blocked worldwide. I almost gave up on uploading this one at all, but then she stepped in and found the solution. Take that Squirrel! Thank you so much again Alicia. -bows-

As for the title... I suck at titles but I decided to do a play on words of the phrase "Match made in heaven". It works for several reasons cause 1.) They are perfect together 2.) The song is called Handmade Heaven.. and 3.) He's literally a god. How could I not name it "Made in Heaven" after all of those reasons. Heh.
