There's an item called the Statue in Lufia 2 that's supposed to work as a healing item. You can purchase it at the casino in Forfeit Island for just a few casino tokens. Using this item in battle works as intended, but if you use it out of battle, there's a big chance it will crash your game.

In this example, my game reset and was unable to progress to the title screen, so it kept looping through the Natsume Serious Fun screen. More like LOOPia 2 amirite??
