After powering up the Masamune to its full potential, you can return to the Danadaro Mountains in 600 AD. There, you will encounter a Freelancer enemy who is throwing rocks (or maybe something else) at your party from across a gap.

If you assign Frog as your party leader, he will catch one of the rocks and say something about how he's a changed frog. This item is the Gold Rock, and can be equipped by Frog to invoke the Grand Dream triple tech.

This Triple Tech requires Frog, Robo, and Marle. The damage it deals is greater when Frog is at low HP.
