I share about driving back into the US and leaving New Foundland, having one quick morning with some warblers, then an unexpected morning with waterfowl on a scenic foggy lake at sunrise in Maine. Brad continues his pursuit of shorebirds and gets a surprise encounter during one of his morning outings at the lake. He also shares about a recent issue with bots following him like crazy on Instagram and how he solved the issue.

We discuss the newly released Sigma 200mm f/2 lens and if it might be good for wildlife photography. Next we share a fun hypothetical asking if we had to be stuck with one focal length would we choose 10mm or 800mm, our answers may surprise you!

We end the episode with our topic sharing our thoughts about high megapixel sensors and are they needed for wildlife photography? We talk about the reasons many photographers give for wanting high megapixel cameras and if those reasons make sense and we also talk about the disadvantages of high resolution sensors.

Lastly we wrap up the show sharing our favorite choices from this past week’s #wildlifephotochatchallenge that had a theme (again) of low-key wildlife. Thanks everyone for joining and we’ll see you next week!
