It’s been two weeks since my last video so I’m back with a lot to catch up on. Emilie and I spent about a week with my family in Florida which was wonderful and even got in some nice sunrise beach bird photography. It was also a reminder how much more challenging it is to travel away from our van.
Next up I share about my experience teaching at the Out of Merritt Island bird photo conference run my Out of Chicago. It was incredible to work with 100 students and 13 other instructors to share my passion and experience with everyone. I had such a great time and it was very fulfilling, plus it’s Florida birds in the late winter which is always amazing! I share some photos and videos of the experience and some of the birds I encountered during the time there.
Then it was travel, travel, and more travel to get back to California. In the middle of that I picked up our van from Grech which had some repairs done to it so it’s nice to have everything working great again. I’ve said it many times before but Grech has hands-down the best service of any van company out there! Then it was a 6+ hour drive to outside San Francisco which is where I’m staying now for this video.
I wrap up the show talking about photographing a new project I’m doing with the Journal of Wildlife Photography and the challenges and excitement for this endeavor. I show and share about the amazing mountain bike riding where I’m staying which has been so much fun, then wrap up the show talking about how I’ve been using the Vision Pro again, what an amazing device!
