Some apologists claim that abstract ideas prove the existence of God. Since these ideas exist independently of the human mind and include objective truths from outside of us, they must reside in the mind of a God. In this video I examine this kind of "transcendental argument for God" by discussing the idea - recently proposed to me by a couple theists - that math and science prove the existence of God. I discuss the basic illusion at the root of this perception, as well as discussing how it (like most apologetics) falls back to what I consider a "God of the Gaps" fallacy.
