This video shows a 50 calibre Bushmaster rifle firing armour piercing rounds into "poorly made" compacted "dirt and water" thick wall, which is "weathered pretty bad" with "lots of surface cracking" and by no means of suitable quality to build a house. I later compare the damage inflicted by eight 50 cal rounds to shots from Han Solo's blaster. Both targets are "adobe".
This to-scale comparison clearly demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that Han's blaster (on the setting used) is many times more destructive and energetic than a modern-day 50 calibre rifle.
Also note that 50 Cals are described as reducing men to "pink mist", often removing limbs or even cutting people in half. Therefore the same shots that Han blasted into the Tatooine's walls could (at the very least) blast a person to bits.
The shot which Han fired at Greedo must have been set to a *much* lower setting since Greedo was left intact after being shot. This proves that blasters have power settings, the highest of which seem to be orders of magnitude more powerful than the lowest.
