Ok, Here is the next "instalment" of "how to make a DIY music laser show"
This little invention exploits the surface tension of water, kinda like the AWE lights, but instead of "pounding" the signal in to a specific point, I am "twisting" the signal into the surface of the water.
With just water it works ok, I think alot of those black dots produced by the water version were dust and impurities floating on the surface.
I prefer to add some oil. That way the droplets of oil with their own surface tension, create beautiful lensing effects as they pass by.
I use a little mini "tripod" to stand up the laser , and a bi ol' mirror to bounce it up to the roof.
I tried addin some dish soap but that ruined the surface tension of the oil and provide much less effect. I perhaps will have to "pre-mix" it to have soap bubble (perhaps only soap no oil). or even see if the "vibrator" can "froth up" some bubbles. That would be really interesting because then the treble which normally has less effect, may produce more bubbles as it vibrates faster. will have to do some text, and maybe design a new "surface vibrator".
Loads more stuff to come, the more I build the more ideas I have :)
As there is no electrolysis this time there are no by-products and no need to replace "spent contracts"
