Fat & Wide Grip EZ Bar Pull-Ups... I found this to be a great setup for fat grip work without having fat handles.
IMPORTANT! I was doing these under full control...no kipping or hitching the body around as this could shift the bar.
I found this put a massive stretch on my lats at the bottom, not only because of the very wide grip but I think the fat grip really helped as well.

I was gripping onto where you put the plates, not on the bar itself. This makes for a super thick grip.
Naturally, the EZ bar has to be wide enough to fit on top of the frame of the rack with enough of it sitting on the frame to be stable and safe.
I added some collars set on the bar ends so that they would brace right up against the inside of the rack cross-beams. This kept the bar in place very effectively. I found zero shifting side to side while doing the exercise.
