A short video how I remove the sleeves from my old sweater. Upcycling; turn your old sweater into something wearable again.

I'm heading to Hong Kong in 2 weeks. Even tho it's winter there at the moment, I think this sleeveless sweater will be ideal for me to wear.

I used a seam ripper, because I think it gives a neat result, but if you're more in a hurry you can also use your scissors and just cut the sleeves off.

I also show how to make a quick stencil and cover an old print. I went for te Hong Kong flag as design. Make sure to put some thick layer of paint to fully cover the old print ;-)

If you use the oven to dry your fabric make sure to put it on low temperature. I put it on 60 °C (140 °F) for about 5 minutes.
