It's easier than you think to make your own beautiful garlands (and wreaths) from natural materials. In this video I make a 5 1/2 foot balsam fir garland for my girlfriend, Tara. I used to harvest balsam boughs and make wreaths and garlands as Christmas craft for Christmas money. It's a big industry in parts of New England, Ontario, and Quebec.
