In this video I make a muffler (silencer) from an old fire extinguisher.

Our project ATV was missing a muffler, so I taught, let's make one by our self. Of course you can just buy a new exhaust. But it can also be good to re-use or recycle things into something new. It turned out well. The sound is good. not too noisy, not too quiet.

For this project I used:

• An old fire extinguisher - Find one the right size for you project. Many sizes available.
• Some steel pipe matching the rest of the exhaust.
• Steel wool insert - can just be bought in the hardware store, supermarket or on amazon*: amzn.to/3u6KlD5
• Heat resistant paint*: amzn.to/3CUI7Lg

Tools; Welder, drills, angle grinder.
