Today I'm making a glowing Secret Wood inspired ring using maple, resin, flowers, and pigment! I used a variety of techniques for this one: I broke the wood to give it a splintery texture, I covered the top of the wood in a resin and glow mixture that's meant to emulate snow, I sprinkled in some pink mini flowers meant to look like cherry blossoms, and finally I swirled in a bit of color to give it a magical look. The overall look reminds me of Mt. Fuji or another Japanese landscape. I'd love to do a follow up for this video so leave some feedback in the comments if you have any design suggestions!
