I used 4 2x12x10s for the top which is biscuit, glued and pocket screwed together. The base is made of real 4x6x12 fir beams with half lap joints on the X shaped legs. I used 8" long lag screws to join the leg pieces together. Cholate colour stain was applied to the top then a Thompson's water sealer.
