My table saw is an old delta contruction saw with the stock insert plate. It has about a 3/8" gap around the blade which in the past has lead to some problems (see here for details: youtube.com/watch?v=yuWNEAlC2-0). Because of this I have made a zero clearance insert plate for my table saw made out of 3/4" baltic birch plywood.
