FYI: This isn't a woodworking video--it's more of a crafty one.
Don't worry, I've got woodworking videos in the making.
My son (2nd child) was born on July 5th, and I couldn't be more excited!
I know I'll be making plenty of things for him furniture-wise in the future, but I wanted to mix it up and do something different to celebrate the occasion.
Well, I've always loved the idea and the look of shadow/light boxes made of layered, cut paper, and I thought about getting a family portrait. In short, I combined the two and made us an official family portrait in the form of the paper-cut light box.
The process is really easy, but time consuming. The result is worth it though. Enjoy!

Sei que vou fazer muitas coisas (como móveis) pra ele no futuro, mas por agora, queria variar un pouco e fazer alguma coise diferente para celebrar a ocasião.
Bom, sempre gostei da ideia e o aspecto dessas caixas iluminadas, feitas de camadas de papel cortado e estava pensando em tirar fotos da nova família completa. Enfim, decidi combinar as duas coisas e fazer um retrato da família com essa caixa iluminada.
O processo e bem simples, mas demora pra fazer. O resultado vale muito a pena. Espero que você goste!
