In the 10th episode of my abandoned building renovation, we go through the bathroom design, and finally get to some concrete work - fabricating the DIY concrete countertop with an integrated sink for the guest bathroom. I’m hoping the guest bathroom should be a dream bathroom for guests that come through to collaborate :)
To make the (semi-)DIY bathroom sink I used glass fiber reinforced concrete, and sprayed the face coat of concrete mix with a hopper gun. I then came back and hand packed 3 layers of concrete. I designed the concrete sink in Fusion 360, and cut the foam concrete form for the pyramid-shaped sink with slot drain on my Avid CNC.
