In the 6th episode of my abandoned building renovation we demo to prep for framing the 2nd floor, Kat paints the first mural, and I install my huge CNC! Check out SimpliSafe here: simplisafe.com/modustrial
We are currently waiting on permits before renovation of the upstairs home can begin in earnest, so I'm making the best of this time to push things forward on reno tasks we can do before we get permits. We start by framing the floor to fill the hole created when we removed the staircase in the last episode. I then get some more painting and power washing done in the garage workshop to prep for mural artists....and Kat Liepins Art comes by to paint the first street art mural! And, the reason we did the framing and painting of this corner of the workshop now, is so I can get my huge Avid CNC installed. For the assembly and install of this beast of a CNC, I called in some help from my buddies JT (from DFM Toolworks) and fellow YouTuber Bart Komar (Komar Project).
While this video is somewhat random, the exciting news is that framing the upstairs walls has begun, so the real renovation work will start soon! (hopefully in the next video...)
