Turning an old drafting table into a new desk with a concrete top. Creating unique edge effects with wooden dowel and Styrofoam. The upside down form method is quick and easy to build and allows a DIYer of any skill level to produce a flat concrete top.
I stained it both by dying the concrete and dying the mortar to clean up the surface finish. the staining came out exactly how I hoped it would using amzn.to/2GXjK5p
the form or mold was built with melanine, foam, and wooden dowel.
I sealed using the concrete with food safe counter top sealer amzn.to/2XzMqX5
