I've never been a do-it-yourselfer (why do anything with your hands when you can exchange money for goods, ya know?) but when it comes to books... I'll do anything to make sure my babies are okay. Also painting is perhaps the most meditative thing I've done this year.

Supplies:
-2 paintbrushes
-8 medium-width concrete blocks
-4 4ft pine boards
-2 small cans of all-surface primer
-2 small cans of flat black paint
-1 long weekend
