8 Nights on M’Pai Bay, Cambodia: Diving, Exploring, and Amazing Food
Join me for 8 unforgettable nights on M’Pai Bay, Cambodia! 🌴 My adventure started with a very bumpy boat crossing thanks to a typhoon in the Philippines the day before. The storm left its mark, with lots of plastic washing up on the beaches. It was heartwarming to see locals and tourists working together to clean it all up.
During my stay, I explored a local beach, went diving at Lonely Beach Bay with Tom, and even got a private tour of the area. Tom showed me some incredible spots, including a secret lake and a stunning viewpoint. My last day was spent relaxing on Lonely Beach, soaking in the beauty of this paradise.
A special shoutout to the amazing ladies at Forbidden Fruit Restaurant—the food was absolutely delicious, and their warm hospitality made my trip even better! 💕
The journey home was an adventure in itself! It started with the roughest boat ride I’ve ever experienced—so choppy that I was holding on for dear life. That was followed by two long minibus rides: first to Phnom Penh, then on to Siem Reap. The entire journey took 13.5 hours door to door. Exhausting, but totally worth it for the memories!

It was wonderful to be able to do the night train again, even if the top bunk was like resting on a shelf!!! I did manage to sleep a bit this time which was great. Cant believe I walked to my accommodation! I was so happy to be back in Chiang Mai. The rooms I stayed in were comfortable the very small single bed was the most comfy surprisingly.
I cant believe I was recognised it was wonderful to meet Zar and spend time with her.
