Overview
Get ready for an epic adventure of bloodthirsty pirates and buried treasure. Treasure Planet brings Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island not just right up-to-date but into the future--one in which the spaceship Legacy is overrun by mutinous pirates, led by the cyborg John Silver. You'll take on the role of Jim as he solar-surfs and performs action moves with the help of Morph, who can transform into various items. Embark on a voyage through 10 levels, minigames, and boss challenges as you view original artwork, behind-the-scenes game footage, and stored movie clips.
Character Profile
James Pleiades "Jim" Hawkins is the protagonist of Treasure Planet. He is the only son of Sarah Hawkins, the proprietor of the Benbow Inn. When the inn is destroyed by a crew of pirates, Jim embarks on an expedition to find the fabled Treasure Planet in hopes of using its vast wealth to better his mother's life, as well as his own.
John Silver is former main antagonist of Treasure Planet. He is a cybernetic pirate captain who dedicated his life to finding the fabled Treasure Planet and achieving ultimate prosperity. Driven by greed, Silver was ruthless in his pursuit—feared by all and challenged by none.
Dr. Delbert Doppler is the deuteragonist in Treasure Planet. He is an alien with the appearance of being some kind of dog/human hybrid, and a notable and well-off astronomer. Doppler is also a longtime friend of Sarah Hawkins, and becomes the guardian of her son, Jim Hawkins, during the expedition to find Treasure Planet. He was voiced by David Hyde Pierce, who also voiced Slim from Pixar's 1998 film, A Bug's Life.
Captain Amelia is the tritagonist in Treasure Planet. A humanoid alien bearing feline physical features, she is the experienced captain of the RLS Legacy, the ship Doctor Delbert Doppler hired to journey to Treasure Planet. She is an alien who appears to be some sort of hybrid of cat and woman.
B.E.N. (Bio Electronic Navigator) is a major character in Treasure Planet. He is a very old, but eccentric robot that originally served as the navigator of the legendary space pirate, Captain Nathaniel Flint. That is until Flint stranded him on Treasure Planet. Flint also removed B.E.N.'s memory chip to keep him from revealing his self-destruct mode for the planet, when it's collapsing.
Morph is a major character in film Treasure Planet. He is a pink blob of space goo whose namesake is derived from its ability to shapeshift into anything. Morph used to belong to the cyborg pirate John Silver, serving as his sidekick and companion.
Captain Nathaniel Flint is the overarching antagonist of Treasure Planet. He was a space pirate renowned by those who knew him as one of the most notorious and feared criminals in galactic history.
