Good day for railroading! As a surprise change-up on the roster, Ward Kimball has been giving a rest in the shed while Ernest S. Marsh has taken over on her train, Holiday 4 Green, whilst Fred Gurley is back with her own train, Excursion 3. Not shown is C.K. Holliday who was in the far-left berth of the roundhouse coupled to Holiday 5 Blue. And, of course, it is unknown the state of E.P. Ripley at this time.
Fred and Ernest's Crosby whistles are practically indistinguishable so that when tries to identify an engine audibly they are incapable of doing so. You must rely on either the bell or having to look in order to determine which engine it is.
The Railroad was remarkably busy today with full trains and long lines at all stations. Had there been three train operations this would not have been a problem.
It was a great day and I recommend anybody to go; the crowd level is pleasant and lines for attractions are hardly as bad as they are made out to look aesthetically. Hope you enjoy!
