This is an interesting mythology around Disney based off of TVtropes called the Friends and the High Council. When you watch Disney, you see some timeless tales being told. Often these tales are ones of good versus evil, of a group of heroes going up against and defeating an evil villain. But what you don't know is, you're only seeing the tip of the iceberg. Disney has actually been chronicling a war that's been going on since the dawn of time, one that has spread across many dimensions and affected many lives. Below are explanations of the two sides, as well as a list of known members of each army.
The universes of all stories told by Disney or one of its subsidiaries are all part of a huge multiverse, the core of a sprawling whole, leading into a yet bigger omniverse. The stories mostly chronicle a war that started at the dawn of time and has spread across the multiverse, a war between good and evil for the souls of everyone in every dimension. It is mostly a proxy war, though open battle has been known to happen as well. This is a record of that war, its players, and its cosmology.
It is a given in the Disney universe that magic exists, and that magic is good, inherently - a la the Blue Fairy, the Wishing Star, the three Fairy Godmothers of Sleeping Beauty, etc. What the villains use in Disney films, then, is not the natural magic that makes sure that good is rewarded, but something far more sinister - that which Maleficient herself claims when she bellows, "And now you shall deal with ME, O Prince, and all the powers of HELL!!"
The powers of Hell are also called, "Friends On The Other Side" from The Princess and the Frog. They are the Big Bads of the Disney universe, working through many other villains. Their main goal is to collect souls to make like themselves, while their secondary goal is just to bring about destruction and pain.
Chernabog: An ultimate evil power emerging from Russian folklore, Chernabog is the Friend, the true, Ultimate Evil of a Big Bad. Determined to destroy everything good and wonderful about the Disney Universe. He dreams of the day he can escape the Other Side and rule everything - including worlds far beyond the Disney canon. His origins are shrouded in mystery. He may be a rogue God, a Jerkass Genie, the devil himself, or even a minor demon who killed the original Satan and took his throne as in Hells Bells. But the only thing that's for sure is that all evil in Disney answers only to him. His second in command is Bill Cipher.
The Inner Circle: Aligning oneself with the devils is not only evil, but even from a purely amoral, pragmatic point of view, it's usually also a bad idea. Certainly, it's a quick path to vast temporal and/or magical power, but it comes with a price, and a client who doesn't pay up can expect his or her soul to be collected and harvested for fear energy after death. But many take the risk anyway, because they know that some clients have impressed the Friends enough for their souls to be spared from the Underworld and invited to join the ranks of some very special clients.

Belobog: Belobog, also known as the Emperor Beyond the Sea, The White God is a very powerful god. And is sometimes mistakenly referred to as God, because he looks similar to how folks would expect him to look like. He is the Father of Aslan and the one who made the High Council of Heroes. He currently rules Heaven a safe haven for the souls.
Zeus: The head of the forces of good, he and the other Gods are basically the anti-Friends, organized the same way. After the Titans nearly ruined everything, Zeus made the decision to seal Chernabog and all his kind away in the Other Side. Several years later they realized that the Friends could still make contact with the various worlds. In response, they organized much like the Friends and began working to fight them. Mount Olympus is the primary Oasis location, and is usually the main meeting place for the High Council, although when they wish to keep a low profile they will retreat to one of the lesser-known Oases.
