We wrap up our Disney Treasure Western Caribbean cruise with two final days: day at sea and Castaway Cay. During our final day at sea, Gary meets a fantastic lineup of Disney characters, including Spider-Man, Belle, Donald Duck, Jasmine, Mirabel, Bruno, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider. Shopping highlights include a visit to Dory’s Forget-Me-Knots, where we check out exclusive Disney Treasure merchandise, including some unique t-shirts and designer sunglasses.
Dining on board continues to impress, with another meal at Plaza de Coco for Día de los Muertos Night, which features a vibrant live performance and a themed menu. We also enjoy an elegant dinner at 1923, featuring dishes like ratatouille in puff pastry, white onion soup, and a classic apple pie.
Our Castaway Cay day begins with breakfast in our stateroom—one of my pro tips for ensuring a stress-free disembarkation day. Once ashore, we take the tram to Pelican Point, browse the Castaway Cay merchandise, and enjoy a scenic walk to the Lookout Tower, where we take in panoramic views of the island. We then head to Serenity Bay, the adults-only beach, for some relaxation before enjoying a barbecue lunch at Serenity Bay BBQ, featuring grilled chicken, steak, salads, and fresh-baked cookies.
As we prepare to disembark, we go through Disney Cruise Line gratuities and how tipping works onboard, including how to prepare for express walk-off if you’re carrying your own luggage. Before the trip comes to an end, we experience The Tale of Moana, the Disney Treasure’s brand-new stage show, featuring incredible puppetry, projection mapping, and stunning choreography. We also take part in Taylor Swift Night at Skat Cat Lounge, where a live pianist plays Taylor Swift music, creating an amazing atmosphere for fellow Swifties onboard.
Finally, we share our full Disney Treasure trip review, reflecting on the highlights of the cruise, our favourite restaurants, lounges, and entertainment, and whether this ship has officially become my new favourite in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
