Back in 2020, I was worried that DIRT 5 would feel like a repeat of what happened with GRID 2019: feeling like an imitation of the past games. DIRT 5 tried to appeal to fans of the older DiRT games, but also went in a new direction - and somehow screwed up in both ways.
