Richland County SC Voter Registration and Elections Director makes a false report to the police.
He reports that I'm harassing and intimidating voters with my camera. He tells me that he's on a private call while trying to stall me before the police get there. He ties up communications for over five minutes unaware that the police are already in the parking lot. Nine minutes later Karen calls in as well, even though admittingly she doesn't know what's going on. She reports that I'm a "member of the press", but that I'm not identifying myself, and hassling the pole workers. She says that I "just need to get taken away from here". Richland County Sheriff's Deputy P. Simmons responds to the call and educates the Director, then promptly goes 10-8, back on duty to fight real crime.
