It's been a fascinating journey but I have run out of patience trying to find a way of using this technology in conjunction with a CO2 machine. On the surface it looks very attractive with no flying optics or water cooling but dig a bit deeper and there are technical issues at every turn. Yes, I know many hobbyists are doing great things within it's narrow operating capabilities and I have great admiration for their patience and enthusiasm. I genuinely had hoped that by diving deep into the principles of how designers had turned a BlueRay player into a "killer" , I would discover ways in which it would support some of the weaker activies of CO2 technology.

I have learnt a lot but it's now time to take that knowledge and use it elsewhere as I return to try and put new life into another laser technologythat failed to live up to the hype...CO2 RF
