The Countdown to Extinction is near! Disney's Dark Thrill Ride Dinosaur at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World will close permanently and become extinct on Feb 2nd. The ride originally opened with Animal Kingdom in 1998 and will close to undergo a complete overhaul into a new Indiana Jones ride that will be park of the park's new land Tropical Americas. Dinosaur is known for the terrifying Carnotaurus audio animatronics which were some of the most advanced figures Disney Imagineering created at the time. Enjoy one last ride on Dinosaur!
