@volleyballcanada nationals were in Toronto for the @Jr.Dinos U16 boys and what a great time it was!
As someone who didn't grow up playing sports, I'm thankful my son can learn the many lessons it can teach ... losing well ... winning well ... performing under pressure and getting along with other teams and (sometimes) your own ... grinding it out when you’re down ... getting subbed on to serve when the point could make or break the game ... All this builds character and breeds resilience that will enable him to grow beyond the game.
My hope is that this video brings a smile to your face as you feel the energy and excitement of this experience which goes far beyond the high level of #volleyball and transformed our team into a Team Family.
Special THANK YOU! to Coach Rod for not only the love, care and leadership he demonstrates to the players, but the thoughtful #mothersday roses he organized over the #vcnats2019 tournament.
