We didn't know much about the duo behind @respectthetechniqueyyc beyond the yummy food they make at pop-ups around Calgary and their coveted Ramen Club ramen kits.

So it's been a special treat to witness them in their element and learn more about them while making this short film.

Don't let their chill vibes fool you. From years living and cooking in Japan to a distinguished pedigree at @fairmonthotels across BC and Alberta and esteemed Calgary establishments, including Rush, @teatrorestaurant and @rivercafeyyc, it's clear Kaede and Jonny take their craft seriously. And boy, does it show in their food.
