Grab the Dino Nuggets and buckle up buttercups, because that's a wrap on Dino Crisis! What an incredible game... this ended up being one of the most enjoyable playthroughs from start to finish and I can't point to just one reason why it worked so well because the whole thing left a smile on my face. Regina, Ibis Island, Dr. Kirk, Third Energy, that relentless T-Rex, and every hallway full of "absolutely not" energy all came together in a way that felt smooth, tense, clever, and weirdly comfortable for my natural playstyle. Yall know I love scanning every room like I'm being paid by the clickable object and this game felt like it rewarded that without turning exploration into a chore. The combat was cheeky, I hoarded ammo like a gremlin, and somewhere along the way dodging dinosaurs became more thrilling than killing them. Regina was fabulous too - practical, sharp, matter-of-fact, and fully allergic to dramatic monologues in the middle of danger. Also, that outfit? Be still my beating heart. Then there were the puzzles, and even when they stumped me, I was more impressed than annoyed because you could feel the thought behind them. Clearly, there's room for improvement in my puzzle-solving skills but that might be why this game made me so happy. The misses, mistakes, and beep puzzle trauma all gave me something to grow from, both mentally and emotionally. Thank you for your time and I can't wait to check out the sequels in the future π
