Hello, friends, near and far! On April 4th, 2020, Dears were invited to learn the lyrics and become a part of a virtual choir. Twenty-one Dears from all over the world stepped up to the challenge. Not a single Dear in this video speaks Kazakh; however, the love and passion Dimash shares for his country Kazakhstan continues to inspire us. He has introduced us to his home in a way that makes it natural for Dears to have a special place in our hearts for the beautiful county of Kazakhstan. Together we sing with love.
We chose Daididau as our very first Dears Choir to honor Dimash's dream of introducing Americans to Kazakh culture. At his first solo concert in the United States, to say Dimash's performance of Daidiau was powerful and emotional is an understatement. We hoped this project would bring back a small part of that magical moment.
We are so proud of the incredible Dears who participated in this video! Dears, we look forward to many more Dimash USA Fan Club Choir songs! Be sure to follow the Dimash USA Fan Club for updates on upcoming projects! As part of our birthday gift to Dimash for his 26th birthday, we included this song in our birthday video.
