Today I digitize my tapes from the 90s and 00s. I cover using firewire to digitize my analog 8mm tapes but then I re-transfer my MiniDV tapes to find out if the Firewire transfer is better than the analog transfer. It's a lot. It's exhausting. Tune in to find out what looks better. Does it matter? Does anything matter?

If you are looking to use Firewire to transfer your 8mm or Mini DV tapes this is what you need if you use an Apple computer:
* Firewire 400 4 Pin to 6pin cable, IEEE-1394a
* Pearstone 6-pin FireWire-400 to 9-pin FireWire-800 Adapter
* FireWire 800 to Apple Thunderbolt 2 Adaptor (A1463)
* Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 USB-C (‎MMEL2AM/A)
