The urge to pinch the drawing to zoom in is real 😂

I’ve been feeling very nostalgic all over 2024. I used to have so much fun using graphite and colored pencils to make my art (back when the Roman Empire was thriving, more or less👵). So this year I’ve proposed myself a little challenge: to draw something traditionally every day.

The rules are simple 👇

✍´Draw the first thing that comes to my mind, whatever object I have lying around, or the first photo that pops up once I open Pinterest.

✨ No aim to make it perfect, awesome, polished, mind-blowing… Just a simple imperfect tiny doodle.

⏰ No drawing past 30 minutes, regardless of how the result looks.

My GOAL with this challenge is to train myself to get used to making mistakes and accepting them as part of the creative process. Sometimes, the drawings will be great, and other days they’ll be as ugly nightmares, and THAT’S FINE! My art is still valid and I should not be ashamed for having ups and downs.

And I of course, to enjoy the feeling of drawing on a real paper again, which is nggggh chef kiss 👌
