Different Collage Art Techniques
In this video, I'm sharing different collage art techniques as I finally start collaging the giant oyster — a project that's been in the works for over a year.
I'll show you how I work with multiple paper types, including painted copy paper, newsprint, wet strength tissue paper, and more, and you'll see the pros and cons of each as I go.
I'll walk you through my thought process for working at this scale, from laying in base layers to keeping track of shape and composition as the collage builds up.
