Today, I’m in the studio making small mixed-media art cards—and honestly? I’m having so much fun!

These small pieces are perfect for framing, gifting, or just cheering yourself on with a pop of color. I’ll show you my simple (but game-changing!) taping technique, walk you through every luscious layer, and share my go-to supplies—including thai gossamer paper, medical exam paper (yep, really!), and a few favorite tools.

This project is all about playing with color, embracing unexpected textures, and remembering that small-scale art can still have a big impact.

NOTE: I forgot to say this in the video - another way to make sure paint doesn't bleed beneath the tape is to "seal" all the tape edges with a coat or two of matte medium.
