Hi everyone,
I'm a bit annoyed of this situation but thought to share my experience with you and share what could happen in an eBay transaction if the seller chooses to be dishonest.
I decided to purchase this Chanel 19 bag on eBay. It was not part of their authenticity guarantee program because the listing showed that the item was going to be shipped from Canada. However with all purchases covered with eBay's money back guarantee, I ordered it without hesitation.
You will see in the video what I mean, but the way the bag was shipped was horrendous, everything about the bag was questionable, and the "seller" shipped the bag from Brooklyn instead of Calgary, saying that he/she "travels to Brooklyn often"?
After my interaction with the seller, I had reported to eBay that I thought the seller was scamming me and they had guaranteed that I would get my money back if the authenticity was in question. They helped me file a return with any additional proof from me, so at least my experience with eBay has been great.
I put this bag in a box (since it didn't even come in a box when it was shipped to me, unthinkable for a bag that was over $4k) and dropped it off at USPS. Now I just wait until it gets delivered to the sender and I should have my money back! I will keep you guys posted on what happens next.
