Ok.. here goes nothing.
In my video opener I've always claimed that my channel is about luxury bags and fashion... and yet I've rarely ever made content in the fashion category.
The reason was that I felt so self conscious to do so.
In the past 5 years, I had 2 kids. My body shape changed. Chest grew wider, and my hips grew wider.
I used to be size 6, size small... now I'm size 8-10, and size medium.
While I regret nothing about having kids, it's been difficult accepting the version of myself I've become after two pregnancies and children.
I'm taking a small step towards self acceptance by sharing the simple outfits that I'm enjoying these days.
As you all know, I love luxury handbags. But I've always, ALWAYS hated shopping for clothes.
I'm slowly starting to change that by leaning in on the colors I will actually wear, material that works with a lot of movement, and choosing shapes that are comfortable instead of trying to squeeze myself into clothing styles that no longer work for me.
What I'm sharing today, the pieces I'm wearing, they aren't luxury price point items or groundbreaking.
But they really are the clothes I'm excited to reach for in the morning when I wake up and get dressed. These are the clothes that get me through the day.
Hope at least some of you find this entertaining, and not boring. I would like to post more shorter videos like these, so let me know what your thoughts are in the comments below.
