Chris Saenz | Diamine Inkvent Day 1-10 Recap & Personal Update @ChrisSaenz13 | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
In this chatty video, I show you inside my ink journals and talk about each of the #diamineinkvent Purple inks so far for day 1-10. Opening these little ink bottles every day and experimenting with a new ink has been such a joy - I'm excited to share what opinions and experiences I've collected so far about these inks!
I have inked 9 pens so far. Ten but I cleaned one after it failed to work out well.
Here is a list of my pens and inks this far:
Day 1 Fortunes Gold (yellow Chameleon ink) in my Lamy Vista (I wasn't happy with it and quickly cleaned it out)
Remaining 9 pens still going strong for journaling and letter writing so far:
Day 2 Cashmere Rose (mauve standard ink) in my Schneider Ray M Boysenberry
Day 3 Early Dusk (interesting blue shader standard) in my TWSBI Go Sapphire B
Day 4 Masquerade (difficult to describe artsy shimmer ink) in my Nemosine Singularity B Goulet nib
Day 5 Nightfall (stunning highly saturated navy ink with shimmer labeled chameleon) in my Jinhao X750 Shimmering Sands B JoWo nib
Day 6 Bucks Fizz (orange/peachy chameleon) in my Schneider Ray Black and White M
Day 7 Sweet Dreams (scented) in my Jinhao X750 Pink B Goulet nib
Day 8 Jacaranda (standard light purple shader) in my Hongdian Black Forest Purple Fude nib
Day 9 Moon Beam (chameleon rather difficult to describe) in my Jinhao 82 Black B Goulet #5 nib
Day 10 Velvet Emerald (stunning teal with Robert Oster Tranquility vibes) in my Hongdian Rainbow Fude nib
I'm really enjoying the Inkvent this year. Admittedly with some guilt for not going full into the ink comparisons at this point and savoring each little ink daily. It's more fun without the pressure. And provides such a nice contrast to all the heavier labor I'm doing on painting and repair projects as the milder South Texas winter allows.
Thank you so much for watching! I will be back although I'm not sure precisely when with another recap after some days have gone by. I appreciate each and every one of you for all the compansionship, support and friendship in this wonderful hobby and here on You Tube.
