Just to make it clear.
Having an elemental weakness will COMPLETELY IGNORE any weapon type resistances.
The griffin in the video takes ZERO DAMAGE from melee attacks.
However when I inflicted thunder weakness with Krile, Seven was able to hit weakness damage from her skill 2 despite it being a melee weapon type skill.
However, the reverse isn't true, having weapon type weakness does not overtake elemental null/absorbs. As shown here: youtube.com/watch?v=MKQi9e_ckks
I'm not going to bother testing regular elemental resistance with weapon type weakness since it's kinda impractical anyways.
