Clarification: this is not an original strategy by any means. It has been done before by others and I'm just trying it myself.
The Marilith is vulnerable to Max HP Down, a friend yuffie can be used to facilitate bursting them down. Do keep in mind that the debuff is essentially a hard time limit so strong attacker is required for this, hence Jack.
