A brief intro of the speaker-

Dr. Maxim Demchenko is PhD in World Cultures in the field of Indian Culture. His research interests comprise Ram-rasik poetry and community studies, Awadhi language and literature, Vishishtadvaita Vedanta philosophy as seen by Sri Ramananda Sampradaya. He has regularly been coming to India since 2006. His favourite place is Ayodhya where he studies poetry and philosophy. He gives lectures on Ramayana, Ram-bhakti and Ram-rasik poetry in Russian, English and Hindi both in Russia and in India. Ha has published 4 books on Indian studies in Russian language as well as translated various classical Hindi/Awadhi poets into Russian for various magazines.
