This is low-key one of my favorite tracks from this game owo
This just happened to be a lol idea for a project based on a song that Ive heard WAAAy too much while trying to unlock everything in the game but I really liked for sounding both silly and depressing at the same time. Since my sister Geo and I both learned recorder back in 3rd grade with everyone else XD we decided to try out this song and see what would happen.
Im very happy with how this came out, so as you cram for whatever finals you might have, I hope you enjoy this music video to no Trophy for you from the best Mario Kart game, Mario Kart Wii!

About 3.5 years ago, I uploaded this my first cover of Star Fox Zero - Staff Credits 2 (which is still up! https://youtu.be/1DAWfksHRsM) as my second ever official, high-quality piano cover on Youtube (dont ask me how Im on Year 6 tho :P). This song resonates on all sorts of levels with me, as the space-y piano tune is both majestic to represent what the Star Fox series could be (a special series to me since it was one of the first to introduce me to video games) and the melancholy of what it isnt.
So as birthday gift part 2 (even if its 3 days after my birthday now and I still havent gotten my official first drink of being 21), heres a special remaster AND rerecord of one of my favorite videogame piano tunes of all time.

So in the album for Materia Collective that I participated in (you can see the song I made for it here: https://youtu.be/KwrdP7UEdBE), there was one song covered by the Bark Boiz (aka this song) that was really catchy and upbeat and had that anime OP vibe to it. So I was like Hey, this is really fun, I wanna try to make a piano cover of this song. Wheres it from?
And then I Google searched it and found it was this gay furry cat dating simulator game. And I instantly wanted to cover it for the memes owo.
So I hope you enjoy the work I put into making this over-the-top, Animenz-anime-opening-cover style cover of A Sunny Day is Watching over You from the visual novel Nekojishi! I specifically wanted to capture the energy from Animenz-style covers of anime openings with the added voicings, fast arpgeggios, octaves, and shenanigans from both hands. My cover would still probably only be about the equivalent of 2% of Animenzs power 👀💦

Ya like smooth jazz?
Heres an interesting way to get the ball rollin on this Year 6 hype train! After playing a lot of Bayonetta in Smash Ultimate and liking her technically demanding combo-based gameplay, I wanted to try her out in the games that shes known for doing these sorts of things in (since at least accordingly to RelaxAlax, shes basically exactly the same). And holy crap have I fallen head over gun-strapped heels for Bayonetta 1 and 2 (and definitely for Bayonetta 3... whenever that comes around...). The music, gameplay, visuals, and humor are all a wonderful blend of stylish, technical, and sexy action thats definitely made me hit the climax ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
So what made me want to cover this song in particular? Well a while ago I had reached out to the super talented and super smooth fellow Youtube VGM musician Tyler to see if we could do something together, and but I never really figured what song to play until I heard this slick track in the background of Rodins infamous bar/shop of big guns and lollipops and I knew this was the one. Huge shout-out to Tyler for making this cover as smooth as it is (especially right on the heels of collabing with the legend Insaneintherain), so go check him out in the links below!
Anyways, next week its back to piano covers again, but with another interesting twist in store! Just one last thing: If you need to learn how to talk to a lady, dont ask me since Im hopelessly single ;-;

Yeay Project M! The best Smash Bros. game with the best opening theme, amirite?...
...if youre not familiar with it, Project is a Smash Bros Brawl with the aim of recreating Melee mechanics such as wavedashing and L-cancelling. Next to Melee, this is currently my favorite Smash game due to the ability to play characters that are only available in Brawl (such as Snake and my main Wolf) and the great community around this game.
Anyways, you should all check out some Project M vids sometime if you havent already, its suuuper hype, just like this main theme to the mod! Hope you enjoy it along with my Metroid Gamecube controller and Star Fox snapback in the background :P
