Of robbers and wild boars, donkeys and clairvoyants, politicians and postmen, drunkards and strict court ladies – Detlev Glanert’s large-scale opera DIE DREI RÄTSEL (The Three Riddles) tells a funny, bizarre and charmingly spooky adventure story with a princess happy ending for the whole family.
Director Brigitte Dethier stages this powerful musical fairy tale with over 130 children, teenagers and young adults on stage and in the orchestra pit, together with ensemble soloists and orchestra musicians from the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
We are eagerly looking forward to three last performances on 13 and 15 Feb 2026.
