What a hidden gem Detective from the Crypt turned out to be!! This point-and-click ghost detective adventure had me from the moment Jane woke up in a crypt and realized that being dead was not going to stop her from solving the mystery of her own family. From start to finish, the game keeps you engaged with charming puzzles, a gorgeous Victorian atmosphere, and a musical score that makes you feel like your best ghost detective self. Every family has secrets but the Darkday family brought drama, suspicious evidence, haunted errands, Pulkheria the ghost cat, and enough juicy clues to keep Detective Kasta fully employed. Even when I got stuck the game never made me feel annoyed. It made me want to keep poking around the house, testing theories, accusing the wrong people, and chasing the right answer like a proper little Victorian menace.
